Like A Magnet

August 11th, 2009 | 1 Comment | Posted in Bahai, Conference, Media, Music

The youth who attended the Florida Baha’i summer school, with the help of superstar Andy Grammer, created an original song centered around this quote:

Faith is the magnet which draws the confirmation of the Merciful One. Service is the magnet which attracts the heavenly strength.” – ‘Abdu’l-Baha

The challenge was to create the whole thing from start to finish in 25 minutes(!)

Its a recording studio, performance space, and creative venture creating an inviting place for diverse people to come together and explore the arts and engage in inspiring conversation. British Baha’is hit up the same with Carmel Nights in London (we’ll cover that another day). Just recently our most beloved Andy Grammer performed live at TPS. See videos here:

Andy Grammer Liberty Live Tour

December 16th, 2008 | 3 Comments | Posted in Music, Video

Son of widely acclaimed, Grammy-nominated children’s singer, Red Grammer, Andy has been around music his whole life and got his itch for songwriting listening to his father hammering away chords in the next room.

Andy Grammer brings a fresh uplifting approach to the singer songwriter scene. Navigating with a sharp wit and honesty through the perils of dating, sex, materialism and love, Andy looks to Baha’i teachings for a search for truth.
